Choir Concert at Esplanade

On 17 August 2013, our school choir went to a concert performance at the Esplanade. This was a choir performance by the choir of King’s College, Cambridge (UK) together with some of Singapore’s finest musicians led by
Director of Music Stephen Cleobury.

Our choir girls had enjoyed themselves tremendously. Indeed, they were gripped by a fantastically atmospheric performance under Stephen Cleobury together with his young choristers of King’s College.

One of our junior choir girls (above) even took on the leadership role to assist Ms Lee in terms of attendance taking before the concert.

Many of our choir girls were very excited to receive the tickets from Ms Lee.

We are proud that our IJ girls behaved themselves well as they queued up in twos to walk into the concert hall in an orderly manner.

Our choir girls listened intently as Ms Lee did a quick reflection on the first part of the concert.

It was then time to say goodbye after the concert. We had a group photo before the girls headed back home with their parents. It was an enjoyable experience for our girls to learn from renowned choir as they sang with their angelic voices with confidence, touching the hearts of all audience.
