Learning Support Programme
Each pupil is an independent learner.
To identify and provide learning support to pupils who need more support in basic numeracy skills so that they can better access the curriculum.
The Learning Support Programme (Math) is an early intervention programme. It aims to provide learning support to pupils who enter primary school with weak literacy and/ or numeracy skills. Pupils are identified for the programme at the beginning of Primary 1 through the Early Numeracy Indicator (ENI).
For pupils identified for Learning Support Mathematics, they attend all Math lessons within curriculum time with the Learning Support Coordinator, Mrs. Angel Tang, in a small group of about 10 pupils. Games and multi-sensory activities are conducted frequently during lessons to make learning engaging for them.
