National Physical Fitness Award (NAPFA)

The NAPFA aims to:

  • Promote the attainment of desirable levels of overall fitness (cardio respiratory fitness, muscular strength, muscular endurance, power, agility, speed and coordination).
  • Motivate pupils to improve their fitness and general well-being.

In the primary schools, from 2014 onwards, students who are medically fit will take the National Physical Fitness Award (NAPFA) Test in  Primary 4 (age 9+ ) and in P6 ( Age 11+ ).

The window period for the test is from April to September each year.

Students who are on medical leave can make the necessary arrangements with the school to reschedule the test.
